• I will maintain a very high standard of service in my professional conduct at all times.
• I will respond to all phone calls and email correspondence within 24 hours.
• I will respect the significance of the ceremony to you, your family and friends, and others involved in organising your ceremony.
• I will provide you with guidance and a wide range of information to enable you to create a personalised ceremony that will meet your individual expectations, wishes and personalities.
• I will respect your privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• I will recommend that we conduct a ceremony rehearsal, preferably on-site, if possible.
• I will ensure that my personal presentation is appropriate for your ceremony, dressing to compliment your colour scheme and dress code, and respect the expectations of those involved in the ceremony.
• I will make efforts to ensure that all your guests are able to hear the ceremony by using a professional PA system.
• I will keep other services providers, such as the photographer, and others involved in the ceremony, such as readers, fully informed and brief them before the ceremony so they know what is expected of them on the day, ensuring that your ceremony runs smoothly.
• I will ensure accuracy in preparing, completing and lodging your documents and in conducting your ceremony.
• If I am performing more than one ceremony on the same day, I will not book another ceremony so close to yours that I arrive late or have to rush off afterwards. I will ensure that you each receive a level of service that meets your requirements, and be available at the venue for each ceremony at least 30 minutes before the agreed starting time.
• I will accept your feedback and use your suggestions to improve my level of service.
• I will give you information about how to notify the Commonwealth Attorney-General's Department of any concerns or complaints you may have.
• As a member of the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants, I will abide by their strict code of conduct.
• Above all, I will do everything I can to ensure that your ceremony is incredibly enjoyable, memorable and meaningful by offering you unlimited support at all times.
